Situated in the prosperous Silicon Valley, Los Altos Hills spans 8.4 square miles of peaceful rolling foothills, just 17 miles north of downtown San Jose and about 35 miles south of San Francisco. This residential community in Santa Clara County is home to about 8,000 residents, with a large presence of wealthy, well-educated older individuals. The Mediterranean climate, scenic views and slow-paced lifestyle makes it an ideal place to either retire or raise a family. The town of Los Altos Hills has strict zoning regulations to maintain the real small-town rural quality of life. Large estate homes on acres of land lead to the housing prices.
