Lakeview Real Estate By Mandy Fake XML

Lakeview, Chicago real estate lies in one of Chicago’s largest, most pleasant communities (second largest in population), on the North Side of the city. Lakeview community is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, making for a pleasant walk on the tree-lined streets to the water’s edge. Originally a summer getaway suburb outside of Chicago’s city limits, real estate today offers upscale housing in various single-story houses, high-rises, and modern condos. Many neighborhoods offer views of the Chicago skyline.

On the edge of the lake, and only a few miles from downtown Chicago, Lakeview is the prime community for anyone looking to live in a relaxing, gorgeous, wealthy neighborhood not far from countless activities. Residents have unlimited opportunities for golfing, jogging, boating, fishing, and much more. Sports bars near Wrigley Field (home of the Chicago Cubs), more than ten theaters, many restaurants, pubs, wine bars, lounges, live music venues, nightclubs, galleries, and numerous diverse shopping centers (notably the Century Mall) line the main streets at the center of the community. The summer months see much activity in Lakeview streets, as vendors and live music liven up the community, while the area’s many grassy spots are covered in picnickers enjoying the warm sun.

The unique housing of Lakeview is a sight to see. Styles modern and old can be found scattered about the community, including Victorian-style homes, mansions dating back to the 1800’s, vintage apartments, high-rises, storefront conversions, and even Old English-style neighborhoods. Prices range from the mid $200k’s to around $1.2 million. Many of the apartments also offer special prices for renters.

Many families are attracted to Lakeview due to its wide selection of schools. Over 20 different schools, public and private, can be found in the community, and many are considered to be the best of Chicago.
