The Oakville real estate market has been a strong and steady market for a number of years. There has been a steady increase in the Oakville housing market, making the average priced home in the Oakville real estate market over $400,000 last year. Interest rates remain low and Oakville home prices are stable. 

We often hear people talking about the market in the US. The US market has suffered a major decline over the past year, which sends a negative reaction our way. The reality is that our real estate market is completely separate from their real estate market. However, it is true that sometimes real estate markets are affected by overall economic conditions, but over the long term real estate continues to appreciate in value.
